ABOUT PATRICK

Patrick Williams is an anointed comedian hailing from Portsmouth, VA. Growing up in a Christian atmosphere and wanting to bring glory to God in all things, Patrick saw the need for entertainment that did not mirror the vulgar, degrading comedy so prevalent in today’s society. It was from this burning desire--and his naturally vibrant persona--that his signature character Peaty Ray-Red was developed. For over twelve years, Patrick has appeared as Peaty Ray-Red in concerts, stage plays, parades, and church and community events. 

Whether viewed at The Funny Bone Comedy Club, a YouTube video, or watched during his latest appearance on a Cox Cable TV comedy special, Patrick’s comedic personality delivers laughter to the hardest of hearts, and spiritual healing for the downcast soul. At any event--from family reunions, parties, retirements, graduation celebrations, baby showers and church functions --Patrick uses Peaty Ray-Red to show humor in everyday life. 

As God increased his platform, Patrick began opening for Major Gospel Recording Artist such as Tamela Mann, Tye Tribbett and many others. Patrick has also had the opportunity to serve as a radio host and currently can be heard Sunday mornings on the “Urban Gospel Morning Show” from 6am-12pm on WNSB 91.1FM. He is a relevant song writer who uses his music as a platform to convey a positive message, letting people know that a life for Christ is fun and exciting. His newest song “How Bout Dabbin” was recently released and can be downloaded on all digital outlets such as Itunes, Play Store, Spotify, Iheartradio, etc. He has a heart for youth, and as a teen youth leader at his church he knows the importance of engaging this generation in positive experiences. His beautiful wife, April Williams, actively supports, encourages, and shares in these endeavors. 

Patrick has continued over the years to be true to his brand by offering clean Christian comedy. He truly lives out his purpose every time he hits the stage, as he “Lives to Make the World Laugh”.
