Trina Jeffrie is the first ever documented stand-up and dressed Female Gospel Comedian internationally known as “Sister Cantaloupe” celebrates 25 years in the industry with church star-studded celebration featuring Jonathan Stocomb, Hamburger NYC, J-Red, LA, CoCo, T-Nu, Bishop Buckey, Snoop Robinson, Da Passa, The Pastor Fred and more. Church Stars Entertainment News will be upfront and center giving you a play by play on the red carpet as well as in-depth interviews.

Having begun her career in 1986 performing skits and singing in the church choir, Jeffrie depicts her character "Sister Cantaloupe" as a church big mouth and gossip. She has been deemed the "First Lady of Gospel Comedy" and has toured with most of the top names in the Gospel and R&B industry such as Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, The Winans, Jennifer Holiday, Dr. Bobby Jones, Peobo Bryson, Stephanie Mills, Brandy, Stevie Wonder, R. Kelly, Steve Harvey and Ricky Smiley to name a few. Ms. Jeffrie is a pioneer that has expanding the minds of Christians in the realization that gospel comedy is indeed another way to drive home the message of hope and that laughter is truly medicine for a merry heart.
