Anthony (Tony) Grant, who was the recipient of The Trailblazer Award at the 2016 Peachtree Theatre Awards and the equally accomplished, Trisha Mann-Grant are not only fellow-thespians, but husband and wife of 4 years.
As a singer (his first love) Grant has performed and/or recorded with accomplished artists such as Brian McKnight, Dr. Dre, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Shirley Murdock, Dave Hollister, Stevie Wonder and Harry Connick, Jr
Tony (Anthony Grant) was born on October 22, 1967 in Charlotte, North Carolina,. He is an R&B, Adult Contemporary and Gospel singer, actor and producer, best known for The Last Punch (2016), and Unexceptional Love (2012). and in 2006 made an appearance in Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married". as well as many other films.
Other credits include the stage plays Tyler Perry's Madea Gets A Job - 2012, The Marriage Counselor - 2008 and Why Did I Get Married - (DVD Cast - 2006 and had star billing in "Tell Hell I Ain't Coming".
Trisha Mann-Grant, who hosted the 2016 Peach Theatre Awards Show, where she was the recipient of the Accomplished Actress Award, wears many hats. She is a mother, wife, actress, model, motivational speaker, writer/producer, vocalist, award winning actress and CEO, creator and host of the web series, "Mann Talk".
Mann-Grant has starred in the films The Fifty and Over Club -Donre Walker 2015, The Man In 3B - Carl Weber 2015, The Last Fall - Matthew Cherry - 2012, Reunion - Sheila Norman - 2006, and If You Don't Believe - 2004, Michael Ajakwe. She has also shared the stage with the likes of Stephanie Mills, Malik Yoba and Tommy Ford and starred in David Talbert's, His Woman, His Wife .
Both Tony and Trisha have been busy honing their writing craft and have plans to bring more of their work to stages and the big screen soon.
The Grant's, who married in 2012, credit their faith in God for the success of their marriage as well as their careers, as well as learning to manage the challenges that arise.
