"Goo Goo" Atkins, she has always had a passionate desire to establish an acting career – it’s the one talent she actually cultivated by studying in college. Goo Goo is ecstatic about her lead role in the upcoming film, “Emergency Contact.”
"Emergency Contact" Written by Nicolle M. Whalen is a comedy about a single black female in her early 30s whose tired of having to list her mother as her Emergency Contact. Thomasina Atkins, known as Goo Goo makes her ground breaking role, starring as ROXANNA BILTMORE, a saucy hopeless romantic who tries every trick in the book to avoid remaining alone. After being prompted by her brick-house mother, RUTHIE BILTMORE, played by Vanessa Bell Calloway, Roxanna reaches out to her high school crush, TREY, played by Trae Ireland. Once her sister, LACY BALTIMORE-RAY, played by Brely Evans gets wind of Roxanna's stupid decision she gives her an ear full. Things get even more complicated for Roxanna when she randomly meets VINCE COTTON, played by Issac Keys.
Emergency Contact has been nominated for Best Feature Film in the Fan Boy Film Festival.
