With years of experience in live TV and a variety of genres, LaCora has branched off into producing films and live events.  She’s also covered just about every star-studded event, including the NAACP Awards, BET Awards, The Stellar Awards and more.  Some of her stories have caught the attention of networks like Africa's Praise TV, and outlets and newswires like the Michael Baisden Show, and Stevie Wonder's KJLH.

Commonly referred to as the DOC of comedy, four-time Church Star Award-winning Comedienne Tanya Lewis is also a TV Host of her own show based in Griffin, GA "Talk Time with T".  A former manager and writer on the comedy page for Mr. Brown from the sitcom, “Meet The Browns”.  Performed with Tyler Perry actress and comedian Cocoa Brown, gospel comedy legend Trina Jeffrie, Nikita B,  Marcus D. Wiley, Akintude, Chinnatra, and many more.   An all-around entertainer, Tanya performs with such style, class, and confidence that her audiences feel as if they are part of the act.

“I wanted to bring something different to the awards show with two hosts who will play off each other in comedic paradies. And also realized that the show has never had a female host, so we're going forth this year with twice the girl power in LaCora Stephens and Tanya Lewis" states Church Stars CEO Nicole Newman-Colter.

Presented annually, the Church Stars Awards is recognized as the first gospel entertainment show solely dedicated to the theatrical arts. The event celebrates excellence in faith-based films, gospel stage plays, actors, gospel comedians, television, digital tv, as well as those individuals who work in excellence behind the scenes in makeup, hair, wardrobe, stagehands, sound, movie set and stage design, and production assistants.
